Last year Liu toured in more than 16 countries throughout the US, Asia and Europe. In particular, his Asia tour included 20 shows over the continent and saw the Brazilian artist’s social media content go viral —some videos gathered over 43 million views. Other highlights included performing at Ushuaïa Ibiza for the first time, where he was invited to play by Martin Garrix under his STMPD label, alongside making his debut in Germany, where he DJ’d the main stage of the World Club Dome, where he shared the stage with Lost Frequencies and David Guetta, artists who Liu deeply admires.

Liu also performed at a handful of major festivals like Lollapalooza Brazil, the Asian Festival S2O and Tomorrowland Brazil. He told DJ Mag: “Travelling the world and performing for such diverse audiences taught me a lot and made me feel deeply grateful for the opportunity.” This year Liu also released music via Martin Garrix’s STMPD, and he produced the track ‘Baila (La Banda)’ with fellow Brazilian DJ and producer, Mojjo. This arrived alongside a string of singles released via Universal and Virgin Records Brazil and other Brazilian labels such as HUB Records and UP Club. A very busy year, indeed.
