Alesso returns to our poll for the 12th consecutive year in 2023. The Swedish prouder, born Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad, is a core part of the EDM scene who continues to play its biggest events. This year, for example, he played Ultra, back-to-back with Martin Garrix at Tomorrowland, and plenty more epic stages around the world.

As well as that, he also had the privilege of playing live at this year's 2023 UEFA Champions League Final with the likes of Burna Boy. He appeared with Swedish singer Tove Lo and together they performed their 2014 hit 'Heroes (We Could Be)’, commenting at the time that, “As a big fan of the sport since I was a kid, it is a dream come true to be a part of football history.” Studio-wise, the master of a catchy hook served tunes like his chunky house remix of S3BZS's 'Montagem PR Funk' and the emotive pop anthem 'Caught A Body' with American singer and producer Ty Dolla $ign. With his signature melodies and Ty's soulful vocals, it harked back to '90s chart sounds and proved the latest hit in a long line of them for Alesso.
