Four words define Miss K8’s last 12 months: “Tour, rave, sleep, repeat”. The Ukrainian hardcore techno icon has been hard at work this year, playing from Madrid to Vancouver, Belfast to Stockholm, and many more places in between. Along the way she dropped bangers aplenty at hard dance havens like Defqon 1, Decibel, Dominator and Devastator, world famous dance music festivals like Tomorrowland and Creamfields, and a few events hosted by the label she’s had a home on since her debut track ‘Unforgettable’ came out way back in 2012, Masters of Hardcore (MoH).
Miss K8 has had many memorable moments with MoH over the years, particularly with the brand’s flagship event in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, which claims the title of the world’s biggest indoor hardcore event. In 2016, for instance, she created the official anthem for the Raiders of Rampage edition. This year, Miss K8 (real name: Kateryna Kremko) returned to the label with her second album, ‘Eclipse’. Inspired by the concept of the solar eclipse, when the dark shadow of the moon blocks out the light of the sun, the album offered a wide array of hard sounds and featured collabs with Angerfist, Nolz, D-Sturb and more.
