Dutch producer Julian Jordan was once best known for signing a contract with Spinnin’ Records before he’d left school – a fact celebrated in a recent ‘How it started’ Insta post which showed him as a fresh-faced teen playing to a virtually empty stage, before cutting to ‘How it’s going’, where he’s standing atop the decks on a packed main stage. As this suggests, in the intervening years he’s made good on his early promise, breaking his way into the Top 100 and staying there. The last 12 months have seen him “pretty much touring non-stop” – a testament to his ubiquitous popularity. Never shy of getting on the mic to hype the crowd, recent dates include Ushuaïa Ibiza, alongside Martin Garrix, and a string of festivals such as Lakedance and Tomorrowland,
After this busy time on the road, he “can’t wait to hit the studio again”. But despite time away, fans have still been treated to tracks such as ‘Noise’ and the ravey ‘Rudeboy’, both of which featured festival-friendly builds and drops.
