After-hours institution Stereo continues to rank as one of North America’s best nightlife spots, going strong for over two decades. Stereo is no stranger to adversity, having survived two fires over the course of its history. Shuttered for most of the pandemic, the club reopened in late 2021 just in time to celebrate its 22nd birthday with the likes of Black Coffee, Âme and Pan-Pot. The slick space is modelled on New York’s legendary Paradise Garage and, as the name suggests, the fitout emphasises superior sound quality and acoustics, while the no alcohol and no cameras policy keeps the focus squarely on the music.
