Nearly 20 years old now, D-Edge has remained at the cutting edge of Brazil’s underground electronic music culture since its inception. The brainchild of Renato Ratier, himself a well-respected house/techno producer, D-Edge could’ve taken the EDM dollar a long time ago but opted to stay true to its founding principles and sound. The futuristic LED light display that’s such an integral part of the venue seems to be upgraded every time the Top 100 DJs poll comes around, and if things have been a bit quiet around its São Paulo environs for a couple of years now, you can be sure that D-Edge will pretty soon be boomin’ back in full force.
